Regional President of Western New York
Eric Feldstein leads M&T Bank’s Business Banking division, working closely with community and corporate leadership throughout the footprint, providing advice and guidance to over 330,000 small and mid-sized companies. This includes oversight of the bank’s Small Business Administration (SBA) program.
He is also the regional president for Western New York, where he empowers 8,000 employees in support of the bank’s clients, colleagues, and community.
Eric has almost 30 years of experience in the financial and professional services industry. Prior to his current roles, he served as the business banking market manager for the company’s Greater Washington and Virginia regions. He also headed the Commercial Planning Group for M&T, where he managed bank-wide strategic initiatives within the commercial line of business. Before joining M&T, he held positions at Skadden, Arps in New York City and Diamond Management Consulting in Chicago.
Eric is on the board of the Roswell Park Cancer Center Alliance Foundation, the WNY Community Foundation Business Leaders Task Force, and the Westminster Community Foundation. He also co-founded the bank’s first Hispanic Employee Resource Group.
He holds an MBA in finance and economics from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a bachelor’s degree from the University at Buffalo.
