WASHINGTON, DC; Dec. 21, 2016—Giuseppe Mastroeli has been appointed regional manager for Washington D.C. and suburban M.D. Business Banking for M&T Bank.
As the regional business banking manager, Mastroeli is responsible for overseeing new business generation, and the leadership and management of a team of bankers serving Washington DC, Prince George’s, and Montgomery counties. During his nearly 25 years in the financial services industry, he has held several positions in both retail and commercial banking environments. He has worked for M&T for more than 15 years.
Mastroeli received a Bachelor of Science in Finance and International Business from the University of Maryland at College Park. He is also a graduate of the Leadership Montgomery Core Class of 2009.
Mastroeli currently serves on the executive committees and boards for The First Tee of Montgomery County and Leadership Montgomery. He previously served as chairman of the board for the Rockville Chamber of Commerce, the Silver Spring Chamber of Commerce, A Wider Circle, and the Germantown Gaithersburg Chamber of Commerce.
He resides in Boyds, MD.
