M&T Bank Donates $100,000 to Tsunami Relief Efforts; Will Also Match Contributions from M&T Employees and Accept Contributions at All 662 M&T Branches

M&T Bank announced today that it will make immediate contributions totaling $100,000 to organizations involved in the Tsunami relief effort, will match all employee contributions and will accept public contributions at its branches.

M&T is contributing $25,000 each to four humanitarian organizations that are rushing disaster relief to Southeast Asia following the recent earthquake and tsunamis: the American Red Cross, AmeriCares, Save the Children and UNICEF. M&T will also match dollar-for-dollar all contributions made by its employees, directors and retirees to any of those four organizations.
