M&T Bank announced today that it will make immediate contributions totaling $100,000 to organizations involved in the Tsunami relief effort, will match all employee contributions and will accept public contributions at its branches.
M&T is contributing $25,000 each to four humanitarian organizations that are rushing disaster relief to Southeast Asia following the recent earthquake and tsunamis: the American Red Cross, AmeriCares, Save the Children and UNICEF. M&T will also match dollar-for-dollar all contributions made by its employees, directors and retirees to any of those four organizations.
Additionally, M&T will accept contributions to those four organizations from the general public at any of its 662 branches. Visit http://www.mandtbank.com/ to find the nearest M&T Bank location.
