Economic Analysis

Gary Keith, Vice President of Commercial Planning and Analysis, manages the market and economic research functions for the Commercial Banking Division—a position he has held since 1998. A 29-year veteran of M&T, Keith is responsible for analyzing key economic and business trends across the M&T footprint, as well as providing research support to executive and commercial banking business unit management.
 
In addition to providing frequent updates on regional economic trends to M&T customers, regional business organizations and the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, Keith writes a monthly column on the local economy for the Rochester Business Journal. He is a member of the National Association of Business Economics, the Upstate Economic Roundtable of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York and the Business Trends Committee of the Rochester Business Alliance.
