BUFFALO, N.Y., Sept. 28, 2017 -- M&T Bank announced today that it will make a contribution of $300,000 to the American Red Cross to assist victims of Hurricanes Irma and Maria and the earthquake in Mexico. M&T will also match all contributions made to the American Red Cross by its employees, directors and retirees for up to an additional $100,000. M&T made a previous donation of $150,000 and a commitment for $100,000 in matching funds for relief efforts related to Hurricane Harvey.
M&T Bank will accept contributions from the public benefitting the American Red Cross at any of its more than 775 branches across New York, Maryland, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Connecticut, Virginia, West Virginia and the District of Columbia.
