The SBA of Delaware awards M&T Bank for its dedication to small business lending throughout the First State

In observance of National Small Business Week, the Small Business Administration’s (SBA) Delaware District Office awarded M&T Bank of Delaware for its ongoing commitment to helping Delaware’s small business community grow and prosper within the American economy.

M&T Bank was honored with two first place awards at the annual Delaware “Celebrate Success” Small Business Awards Dinner on Friday, May 5, 2016, at the Dupont Country Club. The bank was recognized as a leader in SBA lending for generating the most 7(a) loans (58 in total) and as the top third party lender in the Delaware SBA 504 loan program.

The recognition further underscores M&T’s dedication to Delaware’s small business community and continuous support in helping business owners secure the funding they need in order to thrive throughout the First State and beyond.
