Our team in Binghamton is working with Binghamton University to bring the resources of faculty and alumni closer to the community.
Through a new, multi-year M&T sponsorship of the TIER Talks series, local residents have the opportunity to be informed and inspired on a variety of topics.
The next installment will be part of the Binghamton University homecoming weekend on Saturday, October 10. University alumni and faculty experts will present "Making Waves: Mind-Blowing Breakthroughs in Neuroscience." Topics include using the brain to control addictive behavior, potentially stave off dementia, regulate our mood and even protect our national security. This dynamic speaker event will be held in Watters Theater on Oct. 10, at 2:15 p.m., and is free and open to the public.
“We have the benefit of being home to one of the premier campuses of the State University of New York system, and TIER Talks helps make the academic resources of the campus even more accessible to the public,” said Binghamton Regional President Peter Newman.
