Stephen Foreman, M&T Bank’s regional president for Central and Western Pennsylvania, has received the Paul I. Detwiler III Achievement Award for his significant contributions to the region.
Junior Achievement of Western Pennsylvania (JAWPA) created the award to recognize leaders for their impact on the social, economic, cultural and educational development of the region.
On June 5, 2015, Foreman was one of two honorees at the ninth annual Presidents’ Invitational Golf Tournament at the Bedford Springs Resort. The event benefits JAWPA.
Among Foreman’s community involvement is service on the board of directors of the Altoona Area School District Foundation, Blair County General Authority, Altoona Blair County Development, and the Blair County Industrial Development Authority.
“I am humbled by this honor, and accept on behalf of my team,” said Foreman. “They contribute to the region in so many ways. We understand that when our communities succeed, we all succeed.”
Doug Lingsch, President and CEO of MDL Manufacturing, was also honored.
