BUFFALO, N.Y.—M&T Bank will once again bring music and entertainment to its plaza in downtown Buffalo for the 45th Annual Plaza Event Series, beginning on June 16.
The free performance series runs Monday through Friday from noon to 1:00 p.m. between June 16 and August 29, 2014. Tom Stahl and the Dangerfields kickoff the series with some folk rock music on opening day, followed by a performance from Buffalo’s Westminster Community Charter School on Tuesday, June 17.
“From Canalside to the Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus, the Plaza Event Series captures the character of the diverse and rapidly developing downtown Buffalo community while entertaining a lunchtime audience of thousands of residents and visitors throughout the summer. This longstanding tradition includes acts for people of all ages and we are excited to present another great summer lineup,” said M&T Bank Regional President Jeff Wellington.”
The Plaza Event Series allows M&T Bank to get involved in downtown Buffalo’s community and creates a space for local artists and performers to showcase their talents before a wide audience. Each week is promoted and supported by different sponsors around the community and each show features a unique local act.
